I was walking down the street when I forgot to look both ways before crossing the road.A truck was coming when Ike came with a stick and started saying,”Stop in the name of peace!”The truck driver got mad we were in the road and started throwing tacos and burritos at everyone.It became a food fight and I threw a chicken pie at his face.Then he fell and everyone started laughing.A policeman came and  started to clean the place when the truck driver threw a burrito at the policeman.The truck driver was arrested for throwing the policeman’s least favorite food.Now he is in jail like Ike thought he was.

Bison Management-Brucellosis Disease

 

During winter large herds of bison,elk and other grazing animals migrate to lower elevation in search of forage.Yellowstone national park does not have any fences or barriers to keep the animals within boundaries so animals do not know about political boundaries.Therefore the animals migrate out of the park.So almost half the bison living in Yellowstone test positive for exposure to Brucellosis a disease that can cause susceptible domestic cattle to abort their first calf.Because Yellowstone bison migrate to Montana.The state of montana like other states has spent much time,effort and money to eradicate brucellosis in cattle.Elk also carry brucellosis.The human form of the disease undulant fever is no longer a public health threat.The problem is how do you manage Yellowstone bison.

One possible solution is to slaughter bison that leave the park boundaries and give the meat,hides and other products to those in need.The good things about this solution is that there is more food for the animals in Yellowstone.There is meat and products for those in need and lastly it would help stop Brucellosis.The bad things about this solution is that bison could become extinct the bison could harm you when you try to slaughter them and it won’t help the food chain.

Emily Geiger was sent to send a message after she convinced him.Emily rode on horseback.Emily Geiger did not wear anything fancy like the tories.Emily crossed the Saluda river.Emily also spent the night at a tories house but Emily didn’t find out until they were talking to someone when Emily was in bed.So Emily snuck out of the house at dawn to continue her ride to send the message.Later Emily got caught by 3 tori soldiers and was asked why she was riding alone and she replied that she was going to see relatives and the soldiers did not believe her so Emily was captured and got took to their fort.The soldiers said that it was more polite to let a woman search her.Then Emily was put in a room with no hiding places to hide the message. Before the woman came Emily memorized the message then tore the message int0 little parts and ate the message.Then the woman came and searched her and found nothing.The soldiers gave Emily an apology.Then Emily was let go and she got to her destination and told the person the message and thanks to her the message was delivered safely.

Here is what I did on Martin Luther King Day.I picked up trash around my neighborhood.I also organized my room a little bit to make it clean and tidy.It felt good to see the squirrels actually walking around the ground for once.Me and a friend picked up acorns and made a pile so the squirrels will not have to look so hard to find them.We also watered the trees and the grass.We tried to pick up leaves with more friends but we got distracted and ended up jumping in them .Sadly the pile was so short one of us tried and he ended up hitting his knee on the ground so we gave up.After my dog came outside so we cleaned the leaves up as quickly as we could and ran so she would not jump on us.But it really was a good day sorry if I got off track but that is everything I did on Martin Luther King Day.

Today was a pretty good day I molded the clay and made an oven to make the bricks.But I dropped a brick on my foot and had to work with a broken foot for the rest of the day.Tomorrow I have to make the clay by mixing clay sand hay or animal hair and water.Also I have to keep molding and cook the bricks.Plus we had to work or we will not be able to eat.Oh and I know it takes weeks to make bricks we already had bricks being cooked in an oven its just that we needed more to make bricks a little bit faster.We also have a bricklayer he puts bricks we make in layers.To be a bricklayer you need to have construction skills.Also for molding we use wooden molds to mold bricks.Women children and slaves mixed the clay by walking around in it.Also the clay is in a pit.The good thing about bricks is they do not rot or burn.
